HAVING AUDIO PROBLEMS?
At HerbalEd.org we do everything we can to make your listening experience trouble-free.
We have our files stored on a super-fast Apache server which is configured to
deliver the smoothest audio experience possible. We encode our files at a trim
2.9-3.9 k bytes/sec, so that with a standard 56kbps dial-up connection you should
have no worries enjoying our content. This may seem like overkill, but the quality
of your online experience is important to us.
Whilst QuickTime Player is by far one of the easiest media players to install
and configure, on either a Mac or Windows operating system, from time to time
you may experience technical difficulties.
One of the most common (and frustrating) issues that we see is that while listening
to a recording the audio may play in a disjointed manner - stuttering and pausing
often to 'rebuffer'. Commonly, this issue is due to a discrepancy between your
available bandwidth (your internet connection speed) and the bandwidth setting
on your QuickTime Player.

Unfortunately, HerbalEd.org is unable to directly supply technical assistance
for QuickTime Player. Our focus is providing you with the highest quality herbal
education content possible. We simply don't have the staffing resources, or
expertise, to assist you with ever-changing player support, beyond what is available
through these pages.
If you are experiencing a problem different to the one described above, please
visit the following QuickTime sites for technical support and review their Frequently
Asked Questions or contact their support team directly. If the problem persists,
contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP).
